 Just learned something new, even thought I have used gaim/pidgin for many
 year.

 "Tools->Mute sounds" is the trouble maker. Can we somehow overwrite or
 disable this option: Ctrl-S? Or at least, merge this into "preferences".

 I am amazed that other unix people didn't tripped over this before. :)
