 this is a very odd and probably a very stupid problem, but it just
 recently started, and im unable to correct it.  I use Comodo personal
 firewall, lavasoft adaware free, spybot search and destroy, symantec anti
 bug corp.

 pidgin has worked flawless until i reformated my machine and installed
 comodo on the system.  even if i shut down comodo, pidgin will crash when
 i hover over one of my friends names in the list. only his. just moving my
 mouse over his name will crash the program.  windows error report tells me
 this:

 AppName: pidgin.exe      AppVer: 2.5.0.0         ModName: msvcrt.dll
 ModVer: 7.0.2600.5512    Offset: 000378c0

 i have no idea what this means, but its very VERY annoying! please fix it
 if possible! the subjs name belongs to AIM. hopefully this narrows it
 down. thanks so much everyone for a great program!
