 Oh yeah, and the tab bar shows when only one tab is open when tabs are
 displayed on the left and right side as well. If this is by design so that
 users won't be confused when they open 1 convo and change tab settings and
 nothing happens, then why not just put a single line of text next to the
 preferences' option saying: "Tab bar will not be visible when window
 contains only one conversation." or something to that effect.
