 I'm having the same seemingly random segfaults.  They just started today.
 I'm running Ubuntu 8.04 64 bit.  I've disabled all plugins (except
 history).  I will try to upload a backtrace from a debug build of pidgin
 today.  Current backtrace is above, though probably unhelpful.
