 My Pidgin 2.4.1 has an issue where when I'm connected to AIM, it stops
 communicating with the oscar server. However, I haven't been able to get
 the program to indicate that it is actually disconnected.

 I can test it by sending a message to myself. If I'm still connected, I'll
 get it. If not, it says it sends, but never actually sends, and I never
 get it.

 I can also right-click on users and click Get Info and it will never load.

 Checking the debug log, it doesn't appear that anything interesting is
 happening.

 If I switch myself to offline then back to available it reconnects to the
 server and works again.

 However, the program really isn't usable if I sit there talking to people
 and the messages I'm sending never get through or indicate they failed.
