 This is definitely a known issue, I don't think we've ever figured out
 what causes it exactly (though I think we improved the situation somewhat
 a little while back). The buddy entry should eventually fix itself, either
 by your clicking on it, or by some other buddy list update occuring and
 triggering the right sort of redraw.
