 The way to hide Pidgin's taskbar entry while having the buddy list open,
 as described in ticket #2057, does not work anymore in 2.4.0 (Windows). It
 worked well in previous versions.

 Could be a new incompatibility with "Extended Preference Plugin"... Could
 this functionality be reenabled?

 Btw. in my opinion, this useful functionality should really be located in
 the "Tools"-> "Preferences"->"Interface" menu. Most users would
 intuitively look there for it.
