 Seems to not handle all levels of nesting correctly. Steps to reproduce:

 1. Type something

 2. Ctrl-B, Ctrl-U, type something

 3. Ctrl-I, type something and send the IM

 The outgoing message is formatted as test<u><b>test</b><i>test</i>, but
 the incoming message is formatted as test<u><b>testtest</b></i>.
