 we found the solution:

 We've installed the pidgin-2.3.1 which included the old version of gtk
 Debugging-Information
   Plugins: Enabled
   SSL: SSL support is present.
   GTK+ Runtime: 2.12.1
   Glib Runtime: 2.14.3

 after this we removed the pidgin 2.3.1 and installed the 2.4.0

 now everything works fine
 It seems, gtk+2.0 is the problem
