 Still an issue in Pidgin 2.4.0 here on KDE 3.5.9, Gentoo 2007.0 ~x86. I
 second the request to '''reopen''' this ticket.

 The issue was also reported in [comment:ticket:2466:1 #2466 comment 1] and
 [comment:ticket:2466:5 5], and the fix for that bug doesn't address this.
