 This appears to be related to the updated GTK+ runtime included with 2.4.0
 on Windows.
 You can revert to [http://downloads.sourceforge.net/pidgin/gtk-
 runtime-2.12.1-rev-b.exe GTK+ 2.12.1 Rev. B] for now.
