 I'm also seeing this issue again with 2.4.0 GTK+ 2.12.8 rev a.  I
 unchecked the option "Close IMs immediately when the tab is closed" today
 then noticed an AIM window close unexpectedly.  I have rechecked "Close
 IMs immediately when the tab is closed" and haven't noticed it since.
