 From your comments, I assume you are one of the developers, so if the
 above comment is not ironic this the point where I stop arguing.

 I, as the user, know how much space I want for typing into, whatever the
 reason. How can a software know what kind of message I want to send? It is
 impossible to guess my mood and wishes.

 I can't believe I am having this dicussion at all. To all others in this
