 Single-clicking Pidgin's tray icon works like this: if the window is
 active and fully visible, it gets hidden, otherwise it gets shown and
 raised.

 If you have a window "always on top" over Pidgin's buddylist, single
 clicking the tray icon doesn't hide the buddylist because it is never
 fully visible, no matter how much it wants to "rise".

 I guess the buddylist should be hidden if the tray icon has been clicked
 again a short time after the window was raised, even if there is something
 obscuring it.

 Note: using the icon's context menu or other ways of hiding the window
 work without problems.
