 In preferences, unless you have "Change status when idle" checked, the
 "Minutes before becoming idle" is grayed-out even though pidgin uses that
 number for idle time even if "Change status when idle" is not checked.
 "Minutes before becoming idle" should never be grayed-out except
 MAYBE...MAYBE if you choose "Never" for the "Report idle time".
