 It is indeed an issue, I'm not happy with the current string either. But I
 don't like the solution suggested by the reporter, he/she wants an entire
 phrase for that status and that would be the only full phrase among all
 statuses in the Romanian translation. Moreso, I think I haven't used any
 verbs in statuses yet. But who knows? Maybe I'll need to make an exception
 for "Not at Home", "Not at Desk" and "Not in Office". I'll think about it
 when I'll update the current translation for 2.4.1 and I'll let you know
 of my resolution.

 But why wasn't this bug report assigned to me? And why did it rot in the
 tracker for such a long time with no attention?
