 So maybe there can be some sort of visual indication that you can start
 typing - this doesn't really solve the issue necessarily, though.
 Especially for logging out, then you still have to wait so you have
 whatever they type, if they type, before you log out of the server.  Is
 there any caveat to logging in without waiting for the status message to
 be ready, though?  Seems like on big deal if that status gets set after
 you're logged in.  There really should be a way to edit your status after
 it's been set without having to find "Available" or "Away" in the menu -
 so maybe there should also be a button on the dropdown box to edit current
 status message without changing the general status type.
