 I did apply the patch, you should be seeing a 'Present conversation
 window' option in the plugin configuration dialog. If you do not make sure
 you don't have some other extra copy of the plugin lying around (check the
 path that the Plugin Details pane lists for Filename).

 h: Are you using 2.4.2? Do you have the Present option on? What version of
 Windows? What version of GTK+ (Help->About in pidgin will say)?
