 My hard drive died and support installed a new drive with a fresh build.
 I installed pidgin on top of that and it comes up with no buddies.  I
 found blist from a backup and copied it into .purple, but it doesn't grab
 any of the buddies, only the conferences.  The file on backup is 448K, but
 after copying it to .purple/ and starting pidgin it gets reduced to 19K.

 What's the correct procedure for importing an existing blist?
