 This happens in 2.5.2 on Ubuntu 8.04
 Suppose you talk for a while and close the window.
 Suppose the other guy says something.
 When the window reappears it scrolls automatically back to some point in
 the previous conversation instead of showing the last line.
 This is annoying.
