 Same issue with 2.5.2

 I think it started when my brother tried to add my msn messenger account
 to his ymail account. I got the prompt to add him and ever since it's been
 doing this. I deleted the ymail account from the live.com page but it
 doesn't help. I don't get any errors using the windows messenger client.
