 I absolutely cannot connect to AIM, I've reinstalled Pidgin, same problem.
 This occurred after no changes to my system last night.  As well I often
 lose my connection to MSN for unexplained reasons, although it is usually
 quick to return if I click reconnect.  AIM however will not connect no
 matter what I try.
