 Tried to install the new 2.5.2, when the current 2.5.1 notified me an
 update is available.

 I'm on Windows Vista.

 I have quit from Pidgin before starting the install.

 The install runs as normal, up to where the GTK+ stuff gets updated;

 I get a pop-up that says: "An old version of GTK+ runtime was found. Do
 you wish to upgrade? Note: Pidgin 2.5.2 may not work unless you do"

 to which I click the 'Yes' button.

 Then I get: "GTK+ 2.12.8 rev a is already installed. Do you wish to
 reinstall with v2.12.12 rev a?"

 to which I click the "yes" button.

 Then, immediately following, I get a popup that says: "Error installing
 GTK+ runtime."

 to which I click "OK"

 And the install aborts.

 I've tried it several times. and no-go.

 What do I do? Re-install 2.5.1, and hope 2.5.3's install goes better?
