 Ok I found it why its happening. Its not OpenDNS fault. And should also be
 happening with other DNSes as well.

 DNS has been changed but whois database is not updated properly. It shows
 5 nameservers, viz:
 {{{
 whois pidgin.im


 ...
 Name Server: rock.pidgin.im.
 Name Server: imperial.pidgin.im.
 Name Server: ns1.reaperworld.com.
 Name Server: ns1.twocrazyguys.net.
 Name Server: ns2.twocrazyguys.net.
 }}}

 then doing,
 {{{
 nslookup  www.pidgin.im ns1.twocrazyguys.net.

 Server:         ns1.twocrazyguys.net.
 Address:        209.9.232.198#53

 www.pidgin.im   canonical name = one.pidgin.im.
 }}}

 so we need to remove old DNS from whois database, else OpenDNS would
 obviously also check it. So this problem should also be happening randomly
 with other DNSes as well depending on which nameserver they pickup from
 whois database.
