Comment:

 Are you sure this only happens to AIM tabs? Does this only happen to tabs
 that you have opened, closed, and then reopened? Does upgrading to 2.5.2
 help? Does enabling the 'Close IMs immediately when the tab is closed'
 preference stop this?
