 there is no method to change the new childish smiley notification of a new
 message back to the old. I have manually resized the old icon found in
 /usr/share/pixmaps/pidgin/tray/* (all folders / sizes other than in the 22
 folder). It would be nice to be able to pick via a gui what notification
 icon you want.
