 Everytime this issue comes up I make the claim that the number of people
 who recognize the word 'Jabber' over the term 'XMPP' is likely not all
 that great, especially given the fact that more and more regular services
 that people use are providing them with XMPP connectivity (Google Talk,
 LiveJournal, soon hopefully Facebook, etc.). Ideally I would prefer if
 everyone were to inform their users of the underlying protocol so that the
 XMPP name would be enough but as that is not likely to actually happen it
 is more likely that we will come up with a help system by which to
 indicate to people what protocol to choose for their given account types.
