 There are two reasons why I think the current behaviour is confusing:
 1. The phone icon is not conspicuous; it is very easy to mistake an
 offline (but mobile) user as "online"
 2. If you sign off MSN and then immediately sign on again, all the mobile
 users disappear, so in a sense "mobile" MSN users are more equivalent to
 "offline" than "online"
 So maybe at least pidgin should use some other icon to indicate the mobile
 "online" status, and there definitely should have an option to hide them
 because in my experience they are all offline in practice
