#7036: Ability to link the status of a contact to a single account

If this would be better off implemented as a plugin then please go ahead
and change the type, but here's the idea:
A majority of my buddies, unfortunately, don't use pidgin or other multi-
service clients, and instead run the respective official clients. The
issue is that when they go away, a large chunk of them tend to only set
the away for one protocol, for various reasons (eg. lack of buddies on one
account, using skype (nobody ever seems to remember to go away on
skype...), etc). Since they are grouped as a contact, however, Pidgin
automatically shows the available account, which is good in most cases
other than with these people. The result is that they are never shown
foremost as away (although of course I can mouse-over to see which account
is actually on). This problem is even more noticable when it comes to
idle reporting--one client may not report idle in the same way (or at all)
and thus the contact will never be shown as idle.
Anyway, my suggestion for an enhancement would be to allow you to right-
click on an account within a contact and set it to be the status that the
contact shows. E.g. if I set the AIM account of a contact to be the
primary account (or whatever it should be called), if that account goes
idle then the contact shows up as idle regardless of whether the contact's
MSN shows up as online or not. Obviously if the AIM is offline while MSN
is online then the contact still shows up as online. This is not the same
as ordering the accounts within a contact (this overrides the display of
the status of the contact when the "primary" one is idle), and shouldn't
affect the order in which the accounts are shown (since, for example, MSN
might be the preferred client to chat with due to various features, but
the contact only sets away/idle on AIM).
I hope that makes sense--I can, of course, clarify if need be. Your
opinions?
