New description:

 When a new message is received, and the "inbox center" is opened, one can
 click 'Check Message' or 'Check all Messages.' When that is done you are
 taken to a Microsoft Passport page that does not allow you to login
 successfully, and shows that you [Pidgin] tried to log you in but was also
 successful. I'm not sure if this affects everyone or just people with the
 @live.com e-mail addresses.

 It should be noted that sometimes it logs you in successfully, but more
 times than not, it fails to. The same goes for going to Accounts > MSN >
 Open Hotmail inbox. Sometimes it work, usually it doesn't.
