 OK, libxml2 is kind of weird and has lots of global settings that aren't
 saved in the context. I'm guessing (not sure yet) that the Perl module
 sets `xmlGetWarningsDefaultValue=0` and so `__xmlRaiseError` just returns
 without saving the warning, thus causing `xmlCtxtGetLastError` to return
 NULL.
