 I'm having the same problem.  Though I have Vista if that makes a
 difference.  I've seen other people with this problem, one of whom says he
 resolved it through resetting his router, but I'm connecting to a
 university network so I can't try that.  It seemed to resolve itself after
 leaving it alone for a couple hours the other day, but it's back to not
 working.
