 Presumably pidgin should move to libcanberra when/if it gets Win32 support
 because using gstreamer is currently overkill for the purposes of playing
 event sounds, not just because libcanberra is a "blessed GNOME
 dependency".. I'm assuming everybody agrees that gstreamer is not really
 appropriate for this use case.
