 Yes, as a matter of fact, I am.  Wallpaper Changer Light, from CSS
 Solution.

 Of all the things to cause a potential conflict. . .

 . . . that said, this hard-lock bug was also happening in the Windows 7
 beta, where I was using the built-in, Vista-esque wallpaper changer.  Do
 all wallpaper changes have an adverse effect on Pidgin, or something>
