 Well, I did a bit of poking around in Pidgin's code, and it seems this bug
 is caused by the way Pidgin handles MSN_UNKNOWN_NETWORK type networks.  I
 guess the other clients (official included) ignore these sort of contacts,
 and I've attached a diff that changes Pidgin to do so also.
