 A certain MSN contact of mine has written his display name in Chinese.
 However, we normally converse in Korean. This works in the MSN client but
 in Pidgin, only his display name and any other Chinese text (produced by
 the Chinese IME) display properly, while his Korean text is displayed as
 boxes. All of my own text is displayed properly, but I can only read that
 person's text by copying it to another program or by viewing the log.

 My non-Unicode language in XP is Korean (I don't know that this is
 important, just thought I'd mention it).
