 Just minimize and close any window you want on system startup. Then go to
 ''Preferences'' > ''Sessions'' > ''Session Options'' tab and press
 ''Remember currently running applications''
 From now on, when you log in, most Gnome applications, including Pidgin,
 will restore to their current state. Voilá
