Comment:

 Closed as duplicate of #2448.[[BR]]You can send a message to a specific
 resource already by using the New Instant Message dialog.

 For reference though by default pidgin starts off sending to the bare jid
 (that is without a resource) to let normal priority routing select the
 appropriate resource, we only lock to a given resource once we receive a
 response.
