New description:

 Pidgin just went from "somewhat unstable" to "totally unusable" for me,
 not sure what caused the problem, but it is clearly related to one of my
 hotmail accounts - if I run Pidgin without enabling that account, there's
 no problem, but as soon as I enable it and it finishes connecting, it
 crashes. Sadly, it's my primary account, so I'm having to use other, non-
 preferred im clients. Please, help! I absolutely hate MSN's default
 client...

 pidgin.rpt and debug.log attached... please advise if you need any more
 info!

 UPDATE: Deleted prefs.xml and accounts.xml. Worked fine until I re-added
 the problem account.
