 I am posting this here just because I want my view on this to be known.


 When updating Pidgin it unnecessarily deletes protocol icons that other
 plugins have installed!

 Such as the protocol icons that gfire installs.

 It is an annoyance. It would be very useful if the Pidgin installer left
 the protocol icons alone unless overwriting them. I have no problem with
 it replacing icons, but deleting them is not cool and unnecessary.
