 When returning from Idle, Pidgin sets the status that was before the Idle
 one. If that status was written in Cyrillic (maybe other non-ascii
 encodings too), it displays question marks instead of characters.
 Environment: Windows XP, yahoo protocol (maybe others too).

 Example:
 status was "Available: Я здесь."

 went away for more than X minutes, enough for Pidgin to set idle status,

 now status is "Available: ? ????."
