 Pidgin, and other clients works again without any patches. Perhaps, AOL
 changed back their method of validation.

 Yesterday, I've tried to create a patch like
 http://developer.pidgin.im/attachment/ticket/8198/pidgin_254_aol_icq_protocol_7_1040_fix.patch
 (see http://eveel.blogspot.com/2009/01/aol-icq.html) but this problem is
 deeper, than usual.

 Also, Miranda developers already fixed current bug, and maybe we should
 look at their solution?
