 little about what was involved in the change. Bear in mind that a number
 of things have changed since then so not everything there is accurate.
 This [http://pidgin.im/~seanegan/blog/reducing-tab-size.html post] talk a
 bit about some further tweaks that were considered, some of which stayed
 some of which were removed.

 In your screenshot is that a single tab or a single infopane? What version
 of GTK+ are you using?
