Comment:

 I did not want to install the 2.1.6 rev a that came with this since I did
 not want to break the original app that installed my 2.6.9 and not sure
 which one that even was. I went ahead and reinstalled with that newer
 version and it fixed the issue.
 You may close this case and thanks for your quick response.
