 This is a very good idea.  I think there needs to be a way (automatically
 or not) to exclude mobile contacts from this function, however.  Some of
 my friends have that stupid AIM mobile thing activate automatically when
 they sign off, and I don't want my pounces sent to their mobiles.  What
 about people marked DND, etc. for that matter?  Should users have a choice
 about this?  It gets complicated...
