 As far as I remember, Pidgin used to notify you when e-mails came through,
 and displayed a nice bar at the top of the main Pidgin window telling you
 how many unread e-mails you have, and let you click it to view them.

 This appears to no longer be happening. I have 150 unread e-mails on my
 MSN/Hotmail account, and it's not showing it at the top, nor notifying me
 with Guifications when I get new ones...
