 Why would you say that? Previously I upgraded to 2.7.0 and 2.7.1 having
 problems, and then I did a complete removal and removed all pidgin, and
 installed normal 2.6.6

 The backtrace that I included are from 2.6.6. When I checked in synaptic,
 its

 1:2.6.6-1ubuntu4.

 Can u tell me what I can do to "recover" to a stable 2.6.6 if this problem
 would never happen to 2.6.6 ?
