 Update on this problem.  I'm currently running 2.7.2devel, have been for
 over a week now if not longer.  All of a sudden today, yahoo is working,
 but as mysteriously as it started working it is no longer working (giving
 the same error it gave before).  I changed nothing.  I still don't use a
 proxy.
