 As i said, I'm on ubuntu so I can't install aplications.
 Here is the debug log with settings:
 -pager port : 80
 -filetransfer server : filetransfer.msg.yahoo.com
 -account preferences -> proxy -> global proxy settings
 -account preferences -> use account for ssl connections
 -pidgin preferences -> proxy -> use environmental proxy

 It stays like that for a few minutes. Then in the pidgin window appears:
 "My account disconected
 Server closed the connection"
