 When copying & pasting text from an IRC chat window (and presumably any
 other chat window) in Pidgin, the selection is ONLY placed on the
 clipboard in HTML format. This means that you cannot paste the text of the
 selection into a text box or a browser's address bar, for instance.

 Multiple formats should be copied to the clipboard, including both plain
 text and HTML format at a minimum.

 While this might be considered an "enhancement", I'm categorizing it as a
 "defect", since nearly every application out there that copies text would
 put it on the clipboard in text format as well as others, so the behaviour
 from Pidgin is unexpected.
